The Evening Sports page will be starting a Greenville County Touchdown
Club Wednesday August 27th at Tommy's Ham House. Lunch at 11:30,
Meeting starts at Noon. Membership fee is
$50.

Meetings will run
for 12 weeks. Guest Speakers each week. Lunch will be $10,
which includes tip. All you can eat buffet. For more

WYFF will
pick the Players of the Week and the Coach of the Week. Geoff Hart
will present the awards.
 | August 27, 2008: Speaker- Mike Ayers, From Wofford College.
Offensive Player of the week- Southside QB Justin Goldsmith 13/18 on
passing, passed for 226 yards, rushed 3 times for 30 Yards, three 3
TD passes in a 40-7 win over Wren. Coach of the Week- Greg
Porter of Southside. Defensive Player of the Week- William
Ray, Christ Church, intercepted a pass and ran back 18 yards for a
TD and also fell on a fumble in the end zone for a TD. |
